New Hampshire offers veterans of the Vietnam War, Persian Gulf War and the Global War on Terrorism a $100 bonus if eligibility requirements are met. The state previously offered veteran bonuses to those who served in World War II and the Korean Conflict, however those programs have been expired for almost forty years now.

New Hampshire Veterans Bonus Eligibility Requirements
Here we will look at the eligibility requirements for those veterans still active or who served in recent conflicts. To qualify for the New Hampshire Veterans Bonuses, military members must have been a bona fide resident of the state at the time they began active duty.
New Hampshire Military Veterans Bonus – Vietnam Service. It appears Vietnam veterans who have not made a claim for the $100 bonus can still do so, however claims made today must be approved by the Adjutant General, Governor and Executive Council. To be eligible for the Vietnam Veterans Bonus, service members must have served between July 1, 1958 and August 5, 1964 receiving the Vietnam Service Medal or Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
New Hampshire Military Veterans Bonus – Persian Gulf. To qualify for the Persian Gulf War Bonus, service members must have actively served between the dates of August 2, 1990 and November 30, 1995 earning the Southwest Asia Service Medal. This program expired on August 31, 2002 however service members who did not claim this bonus from another state and are otherwise eligible may fall within provisions that allow acceptance after this date.
New Hampshire Military Veterans Bonus – GWOT. The Global War on Terrorism Operations Service Bonus is available to individuals who actively serviced on or after September 11, 2001 up until a date that has not yet been determined by the Secretary of Defense. Service members earning the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign or Iraq Campaign Medal qualify for this bonus as long as they meet other conditions. This program expired on June 11, 2009 but like other War bonuses, there are provisions which allow service members to submit applications after this date.
To be eligible for any of the New Hampshire state Veteran Bonuses, service members must have been discharged from duty in an honorable condition and have been a resident of the state at the time they were called into active duty for a current or recent conflict listed above. You will need to provide a copy of your military discharge paperwork, DD Form 214.

No getting along with myself
A 60-year-old US Marine sits on his daughter’s patio and watches his family ride off into the woods on horseback. Soon looking down the path to the barn set in a small clearing a hundred or so yards into the woods the friendly village appears as tell we never left. In a few short hours my body sweats and my muscles become tired from vibration of fear caused by that same question this young Marine keeps asking, “is this what the entire world is like”. May be it was only a few seconds for time can have no relevance here. I saw them coming back from the ride and got up to get a beer. Drinking gives my family a way to ration my mood as from the alcohol and for some reason reduces or relieves my mindset. 60 years old and I can never get out of this place.
Danger would be the first thought if I was a civilian realizing someone like this was in my community. Danger to me would be for this US Marine to run for NH State Senate District 21 and the voters will not be informed of this existence. Fear is a motivator for the ignorant citizens to speak up for safety comes first. Fear is rooted in the fact the people are deprived of learning the truth. The truth is that the VA and NH Government have conspired to stop my medical care for combat related disabilities and the newspapers believe censoring will protect good people’s reputation in Concord NH. The fact is I need help and have asked for it every day since they stopped my medical care. I get appointments for all kinds of medical care as long as it is not related to my combat disabilities. What a joke the VA has established paper work to prove that what is not happening. A cover up rooted by fear of the public from biased newspaper articles to protect those few elite. 60 years old and still looking to may be some day come home.
600 US Military Veterans in NH alone are homeless. With my physical and mental situations my wife has put our life savings on the line so other families will accept their US Veterans or at least give some a place to go. You would think politicians in Concord NH would want to help US Military Veterans in need. Fear has gotten to the point where politicians only care about their next election. Public fear created by law enforcement and government personal seeking retribution to silence my free speech makes safety the issue. No getting along with myself is my PTSD and TBI fighting to grasp just where I am. 60 year-old US Marine can be anyone of these 600 homeless US Military Veterans that have done nothing to you accept be a young child that went off to protect and defend your freedom.
A letter to promote my Veteran Resort-Chapel for homeless or mentally and physically disabled US Military to have a place to adjust is censored. A letter to may be tell NH voter’s that I am running for NH State Senate District 21 is censored. To censor the opinion letter of a US citizen on government wrongs creates the worse type of biased newspaper ever. A 60 year-old US Marine sits but really cannot tell if or what is real. I have but one life to give to my country so take it and relieve the pain that is what I am asking God.
