To celebrate Veterans Day, Red Robin invites veterans and active-duty military members for a free meal on Nov. 11, 2022.

Participating Red Robin locations will be offering a free Red’s tavern double burger and bottomless steak fries to veterans and active-duty military with proof of service, according to a company press release. Bottomless fries come with free refills, so you can eat as many as you want.

“On Veterans Day, we honor the heroic men and women who have served our country, and Red Robin is proud to extend this offer as a small token of our gratitude,” Red Robin President G.J. Hart said in a press release. “We encourage all past and present military members to enjoy a free burger on us and are looking forward to having another opportunity to thank our guests for their service.”

Red Robin Veterans Day Info

Pay Attention to the Date This Year

In some previous years, Red Robin’s Veterans Day promotion lasted for a few days around Veterans Day, but this year’s promotion will only be on Nov. 11, 2022. The free Veterans Day meal is only available for dine-in customers.

No Purchase Required

Some Veterans Day deals require you to buy something in order to access the free food. But at Red Robin, you don’t have to purchase other items to get the Veterans Day deal.

Other Restrictions to Know About

Red Robin’s offer only includes the Red’s tavern double burger and bottomless steak fries meal. Other burgers and entrees, side items, drinks and desserts will cost full price.

Red Robin Honors Veterans Year Round

Naturally, we’re a huge fan of free food for veterans and active-duty military personnel on Veterans Day.

We’re also a fan of places that honor vets and service people year-round, and those places include Red Robin.

The restaurant’s loyalty club, called Red Robin Royalty, gives all its members coupons and other perks during their birthday month. Members can redeem the points you accumulate for free food.

Veterans, military members, military spouses and parents who use the Royalty Club app can access Red Robin military discounts, deals and perks all year.

What’s the Deal with Those Bottomless Fries?

Even if you’ve never eaten at a Red Robin, you may have heard of their bottomless steak fries.

It’s literally true: Red Robin serves fries in a container with no bottom. Instead, your waiter will rest a stainless steel tube on your plate to hold your fries in place. When you the bottom of your plate becomes visible, your server will refill it. Run out again and you’ll get more, just like you’d expect with a glass of water or soda.

Along with more fries than you can eat at Red Robin, you can also expect:

  • A contemporary setting with a 1950s theme in some locations.
  • Rock ‘n’ roll music on the sound system.
  • To wait for a table during busy times.
  • Full table service (be sure to bring money for a tip).
  • TVs playing sports, news, or weather programming.
  • A full bar in many locations.

Bring Your Proof and Get Ready to Dig In

To get your free double burger and bottomless order of fries, be sure to bring proof you’re a veteran.

One of the following documents should do the job:

A citation or a commendation from your time in the service or a photograph of yourself in uniform may also suffice.

If you’re not sure whether your form of identification will work, find your nearest location on Red Robin’s website and give them a call before Veterans Day.
