The 2022 Veterans Day 11/11 Giveaway (the “Giveaway”)
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCE OF WINNING. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply to the Promotion. The Promotion is void in any state or local jurisdiction where it is prohibited or restricted by law or regulation.Sponsor
- The Sponsor of this Promotion is Three Creeks Media, a media company not affiliated with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or any government agency, and having a place of business at 1000 Walnut Street, Suite 1400, Kansas City, MO 64106
- Eligibility to win the “2022 Veterans Day 11/11 Giveaway” or any other name the Sponsor may deem appropriate for promotional purposes, is open to any Qualifying Veteran (as defined below) entrant, so long as the entrant is not an Ineligible Person (defined below), so long as the entrant is Domiciled in one of the fifty (50) States of the United States of America or the District of Columbia (D.C.) at the time of entering the Promotion, and so long as the entrant is at least the age of majority, be it 18 years of age or an older age, in the State (or D.C.) of their Domicile at the time of entering the Promotion (each, an “Eligible Person”).
For purposes of these Rules, the following terms have the following indicated meanings:
“Domicile”, means the place established as a person’s permanent, principal residence and to which, whenever the person is absent, the person intends to return, even though the person may actually temporarily reside elsewhere (often, the place where a person is entitled to vote). For example, a person who is stationed at a military installation in the State of Colorado but who is, or could lawfully be, registered to vote in the State of Missouri and who intends to return to the State of Missouri upon ceasing service in the United States military is probably Domiciled in Missouri even while temporarily located in Colorado.
A “Qualifying Veteran” means a person who, at the time of entry in the Sweepstakes, (i) is then currently serving as a Servicemember (defined below) or (ii) formerly served as a Servicemember and was discharged or separated with a character of service of “Honorable Discharge.” Persons who received any type of discharge, separation, or character of service other than “honorable,” such as a general discharge, a general discharge under honorable conditions, a bad conduct discharge or a dishonorable discharge, do not meet the definition of a “Qualifying Veteran” and are ineligible to win the Sweepstakes.
The term “Servicemember” means a person who is a member of the United States Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, Coast Guard, Space Force, Army National Guard, Air National Guard, Army Reserve, Navy Reserve, Marine Corps Reserve, Air Force Reserve, or Coast Guard Reserve.
“Ineligible Person(s)” means:
Employees, directors and officers of Sponsor or any of its respective affiliates, parent company, subsidiaries or divisions (“Sponsor Entities”) and their immediate family members and household members. As used in these Rules, “immediate family member(s)” refers to spouses, parents, step-parents, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, and the respective spouses of any such persons. As used in these Rules, “household member(s)” refers to persons living in the same residence as one or more of the above-mentioned employees, directors, officers or immediate family members.
As used in these Rules, the term “you,” “your” or the like, refers to any person who enters or seeks to enter or participate in the Promotion, but in no event shall any use of any such term (nor shall any provision making use of any such term) be construed as expanding or otherwise changing who may qualify as an Eligible Person, as set forth in these Rules.
Sponsor is free to determine eligibility, or ineligibility, using such rigor, method(s), review, verification, research, document requests and information requests as it chooses in its sole and absolute discretion. AN ENTRANT, HOWEVER, AS A CONDITION TO BEING NAMED THE WINNER OF THE PRIZE, MUST PROVIDE SUCH PROOF OF ELIGIBILITY AS SPONSOR REQUESTS, AND MUST DO SO WITHIN SUCH TIME FRAME AS SPONSOR REQUESTS; FAILURE TO PROVIDE PROOF TO SPONSOR’S SATISFACTION (WHICH SHALL BE IN SPONSOR’S SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION) OR FAILURE TO DO SO WITHIN SUCH TIME FRAME AS SPONSOR REQUIRES (WHICH TIME ASPECT IS OF THE ESSENCE OF THESE RULES) WILL, IN SPONSOR’S SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION AND WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE, DISQUALIFY THE ENTRANT FROM BEING NAMED A WINNER AND FROM THE PROMOTION. YOU MAY NOT ENTER THIS PROMOTION IF YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WIN. IF INELIGIBLE ENTRIES ARE SUBMITTED IN THIS PROMOTION, WHETHER OR NOT SELECTED IN A DRAWING (OR OTHERWISE SELECTED), THEY ARE INELIGIBLE FOR THE WINNING OF ANY PRIZE IN THE PROMOTION.
An entrant may be required to provide documents (originals or copies, as requested) deemed satisfactory to Sponsor, including, but not limited to, DD Form(s) 214, current statement(s) of service signed by the entrant’s unit commander, adjutant or other officer, NGB Form(s) 22, NGB Form(s) 23, VA Form(s) 26-1817, VA Form(s) 21-534, Uniformed Services I.D. Card, Certificate(s) of Eligibility (COE) relating to U.S. Veterans Administration loans, current military identification, current enlistment contract, recently certified marriage license (if relevant), recently certified death certificate (if relevant), and/or signed and notarized affidavit(s). These are just examples; some of these examples might not be relevant to you, and, regardless of such relevance, additional and/or other documentation may be required of you.
Agreement to Official Rules
Participation in the Promotion constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.
Promotion Period
The Promotion period begins at 12:00:00 AM Central Time on November 1, 2022 and concludes at 11:59:00 PM Central Time on November, 2022. All entries must be received during the Promotion period. Any entries received prior to, or after the Promotion Period will be considered void. Automated methods of entry are prohibited.
How to Enter
LIMITS ON ENTRIES. You may enter the Giveaway only one (1) time. YOU ARE PERMITTED, AT MOST, ONLY ONE (1) ENTRY IN THE GIVEAWAY (AND THUS, AT MOST, ONLY ONE (1) CHANCE TO WIN). If more than one entry is attempted, submitted or received with respect to a given person, then up to all entries for that person may be disqualified in the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion.
HOW TO ENTER. Eligible Persons may enter the Giveaway by doing the following during the Promotion Period (the ” Prescribed Entry Method”): visit the Giveaway Site (defined below) online; and complete and submit the online entry form available there in accordance with all instructions there. Performing, or attempting to perform, any of these steps indicates your agreement to these Rules. Provided that you are in compliance with these Rules, completing these steps and Sponsor’s receipt of your completed online entry form will result in one (1) entry in the Giveaway, subject to the other terms of these Rules. An entry in the Promotion by way of the Prescribed Entry Method may be referred to as a ” Prescribed Entry.”
“Giveaway Site” means the online web page at https://www.themilitarywallet.com/giveaway or such other, or additional, online destination Sponsor might designate for entering the Promotion by way of the Prescribed Entry Method. Completion of a Prescribed Entry will also result in display of a confirmation form acknowledging your entry (“Confirmation Form”).

CERTAIN TERMS REGARDING ENTRIES. Entries that have been submitted or generated by a script, macro, bot or any other automated means may be disqualified in Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Entries that are mechanically reproduced, copied, illegible, incomplete, postage due, late or inaccurate are ineligible. Incomplete entries or entries not complying with these Rules are subject to disqualification, at the Sponsor’s sole and absolute discretion. Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. Sponsor’s decisions are final on all matters relating to this Giveaway. If a dispute arises as to, or in Sponsor’s estimation a lack of clarity arises as to, the identity of an online entrant, Sponsor will be free to resolve such circumstance in its sole and absolute discretion; such discretion includes, without limitation, that Sponsor will be free to determine that the online entry was submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the entry and that Sponsor will be free to disqualify any such entry and/or any associated entrant. For these purposes, Sponsor is further free to conclude that the authorized account holder is the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated with the submitted email address. The Giveaway Site’s database clock will be the official timekeeping device for the Giveaway. Sponsor is not required to verify, confirm or comment on information submitted, entries made or attempted, status, eligibility or any particular entrant or entry, nor otherwise respond to inquiries regarding the Promotion, except as expressly specified in these Rules.
AUTHORIZATION TO SEND MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS. By entering the Giveaway using the Prescribed Entry Method, you authorize the Sponsor and Administrator and their respective affiliates and independent contractors to make use of the email address, home, office and cellular telephone numbers and any other information you submit to send you electronically or in any other format, privacy policies, marketing communications, updates, information and tips relating to real estate, mortgage, financing, credit, homes, moving, home improvement and related subjects until such time (or a reasonable time thereafter) as you withdraw such authorization (e.g., by unsubscribing from such messages via an un-subscribe link in an email message you might receive). Sponsor and Administrator and their respective designees remain free to contact you by email, text, phone call or otherwise, however, for any purpose relating to operation or administration of the Sweepstakes.
Prize
A total of two (2) prizes will be available to be won and awarded in this Giveaway (the “Prize”), as described below.
Prize: The “Prize,” the awarding of which will be subject to the terms and condition of these Rules, will consist of two (2) cash prizes of $1,111.00. The prize will paid in a single payment by check to Winner(s), and mailed to each respective Winners’ address on or about December 1, 2022, so long as receipt of documents confirming the eligibility of Entrant to win has been received prior to that date.
Limit one (1) Prize per person during the Promotion Period. The total ARV for all prizes is $2,222.00. If necessary, each Winner may be required to provide Sponsor with a valid Social Security number or tax identification number for tax reporting purposes before the Prize will be awarded. Winner cannot assign the prize. Sponsor’s only obligation is to provide the prize to the Winner. You acknowledge that the amount of taxes due related to the Prize may vary based on the applicable federal, State and local tax laws, and the winner is solely responsible for all such amounts.
Winner Selection
On or about November 12, 2022, Sponsor will randomly select Two (2) Potential Winners from all eligible Entries received during the Promotion Period, VIA RANDOM COMPUTER SELECTION. Drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Promotion.
Except where prohibited by law, Winners grant (and agrees to confirm this grant in writing if requested) permission for Sponsor and those acting under its authority to use Winner’s name, photograph, voice and/or likeness, for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented without territorial or time limitations and without compensation.
Odds of Winning
The odds of winning a Prize depend on the total number of eligible Promotion entries received.
Taxes and Costs
Each winner is solely responsible for all costs associated with accepting the Prize, including all federal, state, and/or local taxes, fees or expenses associated with the prizes they receive, regardless of whether it, in whole or in part, is used. No Prize will be awarded to any person, whether eligible or not, in any jurisdiction where this Promotion is restricted or prohibited by law or regulation. Sponsor will not permit substitution, transfer or payment of a cash equivalent for any Prize except that the Sponsor, in its sole discretion, may substitute any Prize (or any portion thereof) with a Prize of equal or greater value, as a result of the unavailability of the Prize, or for any other reason.
Notification of Winner
Potential Winner will be notified via email on or about November 12, 2022, between approximately 9:00 AM Central Time and 5:00 PM Central Time. Potential Winner is subject to verification, including verification of age. The Potential Winner will have three (3) days of attempted notification to respond to such notification and provide their mailing address for shipment of the Prize. If necessary, potential Winner may be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release; a IRS W9 form; and where lawful, a Publicity Release, within three (3) days of attempted notification. If necessary, potential Winner will be issued an IRS 1099-MISC form for the value of the Prize. Please allow 4-8 weeks for shipment of Prize after confirmation. If Sponsor does not receive a response with the Potential Winner’s mailing address within three (3) days of attempted notification, or if a Potential Winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, or if the Prize is unclaimed, such individual will be disqualified and his/her Prize will be forfeited, all in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes won by an eligible Entrant who is a minor in his/her state of residence will require parent or legal guardian to sign and return all required documents. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email address, mailing address and/or telephone number of Entrants. In the event that any Prize is forfeited, such Prize may, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, be awarded to an alternate Potential Winner, who will also be selected in a random drawing and will be required to respond within the time parameters set forth herein.
Winner List
For the name of the Winners, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope after November 12, 2022, but before November 12, 2023, to: “2022 Veterans Day 11/11 Giveaway, Three Creeks Media, 1000 Walnut Street, Suite 1400, Kansas City, MO 64106 . Sponsor reserves the right to identify the Winners on only a limited basis (e.g., by first or last name or initial and State, region or town of residence) or by providing full (or fuller) identifying information as to the Winners.
Applicable Law and Venue
This Promotion is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. However, all issues, allegations, claims, actions or disputes concerning compliance or noncompliance with these Rules or the construction, validity, interpretation, enforceability or breach of these Official Rules (collectively, “Rules-Related Disputes”), shall be governed by the laws of the State of Missouri (excluding conflicts of laws rules). All Rules Disputes and all other claims, actions and disputes arising out of or connected with this Promotion or the Rules will be resolved individually, and without resort to class action, exclusively by a state or federal court located in Missouri. Should there be a conflict between the laws of the State of Missouri and any other laws, the conflict will be resolved in favor of the laws of the State of Missouri.
Privacy
By entering this Promotion, Entrant acknowledges their understanding that they are providing information to the Sponsor. Information submitted to Sponsor by any Entrant is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at https://www.threecreeksmedia.com/privacy-policy/ . By entering the Promotion, Entrant expressly agree to the terms of the Privacy Statement. If selected as a Winner, the Entrant’s information may also be included in a publicly available Winner’s list.
General
All entries and related submissions, materials and content, and any prize claims, become the property of Sponsor upon submission or delivery and will not be returned. These Rules constitute the full and exclusive agreement relating to the Promotion. In the event of any conflict between these Rules and any statement, document or communication relating to the Promotion, these Rules shall prevail.
Sponsor is not responsible for entries that (for whatever reason and whoever’s fault – unless done fraudulently by Sponsor) are incomplete, lost, damaged, destroyed or unintelligible; telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind; incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of operator error, technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet, congestion or problems regarding any Web site, or any combination thereof; any condition caused by events beyond Sponsor’s control which disrupts or interferes with the Promotion; or any injury, loss, damage or liability of any kind arising out of or relating to Entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the delivery, transfer, receipt, acceptance, possession, use or disposition of the Prizes (or any substitution), including without limitation any injury, loss, or damage to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer or property relating to or resulting from participation in, or downloading or viewing any materials in connection with, this Promotion.
Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to modify, postpone, defer or cancel the Promotion at any time and with or without notice and to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process, violates these Rules, or acts in an inappropriate or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any person.
No liability or responsibility is assumed by Sponsor from the user’s participation or attempt to participate in the Promotion. Sponsor is not responsible for any errors in these Official Rules, the Promotion, typographical or other error in the printing of the Promotion materials, administration of the Promotion, or the announcement of Prize Winner, including such error that a Prize may have been won.
