Target does not offer a year-round military discount. However, military members, veterans and military family members can save 10% in-store and on Target.com during select periods of the year, according to the retailer’s website.

Target Fourth of July Military Discount
Target’s Fourth of July military discount is available from June 26 to July 4 each year.
During this time, military service members, veterans and their families receive up to 10% off two separate online or in-store transactions.
Target Veterans Day Military Discount 2025
In 2024, Target’s military discount for Veterans Day was available from Oct. 29 – Nov. 11, 2024. During that time, military service members, veterans and their families can take 10% off their total purchase while shopping in-store and online.

How to Get a Military Discount at Target
Target’s versatile app stores savings and coupons for Target Circle members.
Military members, students and teachers can verify their discount eligibility by signing into Target.com.
How to Add Your Target Military Discount to the App:
First, sign into a Target Circle account via the website (You can’t confirm your status on the app).
Once you’re logged in, go to “Account,” then “Settings,” and click “I’m a service member or dependent.” Then, verify your name, birthday, branch and service status and click “Verify.”
Once verified, you’ll see your 10% military discount in your Target Circle dashboard when you log in online or use the mobile app.

Target’s military discount is only available at certain times of the year, but there are other ways to save money at Target.
Target Deal Days
Target Deal Days is a three-day event featuring online and in-store savings on thousands of items.
The pre-Black Friday sale competes with other popular sale events, like Amazon Prime Days. Anything you purchase during this period receives Target’s Holiday Price Match Guarantee. So, if you find the same item at a lower price through Dec. 24, Target will price-match it.
Target RedCard
Target shoppers can save 5% on qualifying purchases with their RedCard.
The card comes in two forms:
- A Target RedCard debit card linked to your bank account
- A Target RedCard credit card, which requires an application for approval.
Use your RedCard at checkout when stopping in-store or online.
If you have the Target app, you can save your RedCard details in the app’s “wallet” section, then have a cashier scan your wallet barcode at checkout.
Does Target Ship to APO and FPO Addresses?
Yes, Target ships to APO and FPO addresses, but restrictions apply. The retailer won’t ship:
- Food
- Excessively heavy or oversized items
- Products sent directly from the manufacturer
- Products with lithium-ion batteries
- Some cosmetics and fragrances.
