One of the perks of having a USAA bank account is getting your military pay up to two days earlier. While military pay dates are typically on the 1st and 15th of each month, USAA’s early pay policy means your funds could hit your account ahead of schedule.
The timing depends on when your employer sends payroll information to USAA. In many cases, pay arrives one day early, although it can be up to two days late. It’s only available via direct deposit, so make sure that’s set up. For example, if payday is Monday the 15th, you might see your deposit as soon as the previous Wednesday.
