ADT does not allow you to cancel your contract without fees even if you are under orders. So if you have orders OCONUS or a location outside of ADT’s services, they will still charge you 75% of your remaining balance.

Naomi, I recommend contacting your JAG office (legal office) for assistance with this. A letter from a lawyer may make the fees disappear. The Servicemembers Civil Relief Act may also have provisions that cover contracts when a service member deploys or moves overseas, but I don’t have a firm answer on this. I recommend doing the research to see if this type of situation is covered. Best wishes!
